  • INDUSTRIAL was developed to stop rusting or prevent rusting in areas subjected to environmental hazards such as rain, industrial fallout, salt water immersion and other aggressive environments.

  • INDUSTRIAL is not a highly penetrating product. It is designed to be a long lasting (5-20 years) liquid barrier coating in non-abrasive environments.

  • Preparation: Wire brush, needle gun, water or sand blast. Blasting is not required as removal of the heavy rust scale is all that is needed. Ship-2-Shore can be applied on damp metal but dry is preferred.

  • For maximum longevity in heavily rusted areas PLID should be  applied first and allowed to penetrate seams, cracks and crevices, followed by an application of INDUSTRIAL.

  • INDUSTRIAL maybe applied by paint brush, roller or high pressure spray.

  • Being temperature sensitive, warming the material to about 65 degrees F. will thin the material sufficiently to be easily sprayed. If necessary, thin 5-7% with odorless kerosene.

  • INDUSTRIAL and PLID may be painted over in areas that do not experience abrasion such as foot traffic or they maybe applied over paint as a top coat.

  • If a ship's bilge or ballast tanks are too be painted choose a porous primer, top coat with Ship-2-Shore INDUSTRIAL.

  • There is very little color pigment in this material so the original material color remains but may appear wet.

Maintenance of bridges, large or small, can be greatly reduced by controlling corrosion with Ship-2-Shore.
